Potty Talk

I've always read other people blogging about their children being potty trained and thought that would never be me. Now I know. It really is a big deal. The fact that I did not have to change any stinky poopy diapers today (honestly, newborn #2 doesn't count anymore after you've seen what it can become) is cause for a celebration indeed. We still have a long way to go, but this is progress and success indeed!

Easter Cuteness

I love these kids!

Today has been quite the day (and it's only 3). I struggled this morning in maintaining my sanity and not yelling at my toddler. I have had to calm myself down and remind myself that she's not even two and it will get better (I don't know if it really will be, but I'm hopeful). Most of the problem came in Andres deciding to deviate severely from what I thought had become a pretty set schedule. He wanted to eat at the times he usually slept and did not sleep all morning. This caused postponing of eating for the rest of us, and we don't deal well with a lack of food. But as I was pondering all that went on this morning and how taxing it was on my brain and my sanity, I looked around and this is what I saw:

That's right. They're both asleep. They sure are cute that way.
