Four Months

Our little Dexter is 4 months old!  The last time I posted about him, I said that the first two months went by really fast.  Well, these last two months have gone by incredibly slowly.  They've been really good, though.  Dexter just keeps getting more and more fun.  He laughs and smiles a lot, and is a very social little guy.  Mom is still his favorite person, but he isn't quite as adamant about always being with me (and they say that being particular about who is holding them is something they develop much later - BOLOGNA!).  He is still not the greatest eater although things have improved greatly since I've given up dairy entirely.  He is however, a great sleeper!  And amazingly, all three kids are in the same room and doing great.  Not only does he go to sleep at the same time or within 15-30 minutes of his brother and sister at 8, but he has been sleeping straight through until 5:30!  Which is great except sometimes he's ready to be awake for a few hours then.  Still better than getting up several times a night though!  I love you Dexter!
He loves to suck on his fingers.  All of them.  Sometimes he looks like he's trying to eat them.
Here are his 4 month stats:
Height - 25 inches (50-75%)
Weight - 14 pounds (50%)
(basically he's perfect although Jason says 50% is an F, but considering how much he likes to be held I'd rather an F than an A)

These two are good pals and, for the most part, really like each other.

Don't worry - the chips were all gone.  As a matter of fact, he likes to play with it because of the noise.  Addie thought he should try it on and declared that he looked like a mermaid (merman).

Ballet Recital

Here are some pictures from Addie's recent ballet recital.  She did so well and we were very proud of her.  I thought it was so cute to see how hard she was working to do everything right.  I was a bit worried that Andres and Dexter would have a hard time sitting through the performance even though it wasn't very long.  But, they both did great.  Andres really got into and clapped and cheered at all the right places.  Dexter wanted to stand up in my lap and just stared at the stage excitedly half of the time, and then had a bottle the rest of the time.  It was a wonderful evening.  Pathetic that it's probably the most culture we've all gotten in 3 years - ha!
Addie is fourth from the left.
Addie is the furthest to the right.

This is Addie backstage getting in 'the zone' and ready to perform.

I don't think I've ever seen this smile except for pictures.
