Halloween 2013

We were all pretty proud of our costumes this year. The kids all like watching Scooby Doo and dressing up that way was a lot of fun. Addie was a bit embarrassed about driving in the car with the paint and flowers, though.

I'm sorry, but is this not the cutest Fred you've ever seen? We actually used Sun-in on his hair for a week or so to try to get it a little lighter.

Daphne was the winner of the donut on the rope contest.

We went to the pumpkin patch and there really isn't much more to say except look at these crazy kids

First Snow

It snowed for the first time in the middle of October!  There was only a few inches on the ground, and it was gone by that afternoon, but we took advantage of the white stuff while it lasted!  It was parent teacher conference time, so Addie didn't have school so we went out to play.

To be perfectly honest, this is how snow should always be: a couple inches overnight that doesn't effect the road too bad and melts before the next snow.
