Totally Wicked!

This year for my birthday, Jason and I drove down to Albuquerque to see Wicked! I have always wanted to see it and was one day randomly complaining about that fact, which made Jason look it up and find that it was going to be so close to us and close to my birthday!
It was so much fun! To be honest, though, the best part might have been the fact that we were without children for several hours!

Our Backyard Friends

These two colorful fellas were permanent residents in our backyard this summer and into the fall. We had a lot of fun looking at their webs and seeing how much they grew. It must've been a  good year to be in our backyard, because they both seemed to about double in size while we were watching. The kids said they were creepy. We looked them both up, and while they are both super creepy looking, neither one is poisonous or dangerous to us.
