Look who turned 5!! Can you believe he has survived this long? Some days I have a hard time believing it, but here we are!
For his birthday this year, we went bowling as a family and it was a lot of fun. Everyone was able to do it pretty well (even if some might have needed a bit of help) and we all had a great time.
Then we came home and had some birthday cake of Andres' invention. He absolutely loves chocolate chip cookies (that's what I made to take to his class at school for his birthday) and that's what he wanted until I mentioned that when I was little I always wanted an ice cream cake that my mom would make with an oreo cookie crust. From that he got the brilliant idea to make an ice cream cake that was like a giant ice cream sandwich. Two huge chocolate chip cookies with Oreo ice cream in between. He was so excited and mostly loved that it was all his idea.
| Sure do love this kid. |
Here's a little bit about Andres as he turns 5:
He loves going to school and is doing really well.
He loves playing with Legos and has a very long list of all the sets he would like to get someday.
He still thinks super heroes are cool, but really Star Wars is much cooler.
He is a very good brother to both his brother and sister, although sometimes he plays best by himself.
Is pretty amazing on his bike (a razor tricycle style).
Doesn't really like to loose at anything.
Is really good at his ABC's and loves anything to do with science.
Likes to help mom in the kitchen and is actually pretty good at it.
