We really enjoyed the time we spent in California. Not just because we got to spend time with family, but because we loved the weather! It was beautiful the whole time we were there. We ate good food, watched some good movies, went to the zoo (Addie's first time and she was more interested in the people around her than in the animals), went to In n Out Burger (woohoo), we shopped for Christmas presents, listened to Kevin play the guitar (which was wonderful despite the long fingernails), went to the temple with Kimberly (which also meant Addie had her first real babysitter and apparently did ok), and generally really enjoyed being in California! The weather was so nice! Jason and I both felt nostalgic being back in the land of our missions and it was weird to have a new perspective on the life of a Mission President.

The whole family - aren't we just so cute? This was in the front yard of the mission home - thier home is so lovely and both the front and back yard are really pretty (or maybe I just thought so because it wasn't covered in snow and the weather was just so nice (I know I've probably mentioned that too many times, but I'm really ready to be done with Idaho winters)).

It loks like you guys had a great Christmas. I am jealous of the weather ya'll had. This winter in West Virginia has been freezing!
