Adelaide has been sick for the last week and so there was not much anyone would want to hear about, and there were also no pictures because I kept stopping myself from taking pictures of things that were fascinating to me, but would embarass Addie later in life and disgust anyone now. Let's just say that everytime I changed her diaper (which was a lot) I was astounded at what I saw and smelled.

. . . getting on to happier things . . . Easter was very nice.
Addie felt better just in time for Easter and looked oh-so cute in her dress. We had dinner with two other families in our ward and we had the kind of food that was prepared in Jesus' time (lamb, flatbread, olives, dates, grapes, nuts, etc.) and we all sat on the floor on blankets. It was fun and it was good to focus on the real reason for Easter (it also helped that we didn't do any of the bunny, egg, basket stuff this year). We did decorated some cookies with sprinkles that Jason's mom sent us the first easter we were married. We finally used them! Here are some pictures from the last little while.
Addie tried to drink out of a big-kid cup and spilled water all over herself. You cant really tell, but she's soaked in this picture.
These are the easter cookies and Addie eating part of one. That was a really bad idea on my part.

Jason working on the puzzle. We worked on this every night after Addie went to bed for 2 weeks.

What a perfect little face! Whose granddaughter is she, anyway??? I love the Easter dress. and the cute little cherub face. (not you Jason, even if you do have a cute face) Thanks for sharing. The cookies look great.

Addie is so cute! I love yellow dresses! She has gotten so big. I can't believe they are almost 1! Sorry to hear that you were sick. I am glad to hear that you are all better!

Sounds like you guys had a good Easter. I like the idea of eating old school style and remembering more what the holiday is actually about. Addie is adorable- I love the chubby checks!
