Addie is 1!! Yesterday was Adelaide's birthday and it really was oh-so-exciti
ng! We tried to make it a fun day, but that was a little hard because she's got a tooth c
oming in so she wasn't really having much of a good time. But we went to the park to do some swinging and play, but it was a very hot and humid day and most of the playground was just too hot. But Addie wandered off into the shaded part of the park and just loved it. She walked all around under the trees, picking up sticks and exploring the whole area. After Jason got home we were able to really celebrate. Addie helped make her cupcakes and seemed to have much more fun making them than eating them. She also opened her presents: a swing
from mom and dad to hang under the deck of our new house, and lots of cute new clothes from Grandma Gonzalez. What a great day! and what a wonderful year we've had with our cute little Adelaide!

She has grown so much. We mom's and aunts just LOVE to watch our kids become parents and to feel the joy we felt (and feel). So glad you have that!
