It's that day again! It's our birthday! This is the first one that we get to really celebrate together and I really hope that it's always this much fun sharing a birthday with this cutie pants. The day fell on a Sunday this year and I love having birthdays on a Sunday because they're so laid back.
We got all colorful for the big day and, if I do say so, we looked pretty cute.
I got some pretty fun presents including some new shoes.
We were both pretty excited for the big day.

This face was just perfect. As is typical, she looks upset, but she's really just very excited. Basically "It's So Fluffy!!"
Funny story: Our oven decided to completely stop working right as I was getting the cake and cupcakes ready to go in. Not super cool. Luckily, our friends live close by and we were able to borrow theirs. It made our laid back Sunday Birthday a little bit crazier than I was hoping for, but it all worked out in the end. The cake was not only pretty, but it tasted really good for a mix.
Happy 1st Birthday to this beautiful girl! We are so glad that she is part of our family. Everyone loves her and she has such a fun, smiley personality. She still doesn't have much hair, she's only kind of walking, and she only uses a few words that all start with d. Which isn't surprising considering all of her favorite people have that sound. She loves her siblings and they love her. Her brothers are starting to ease up on being super careful with her and now trying to help her climb up on things and play around like a big kid.
