Lego Star Wars Birthday!

Andres recently turned 7 and he wanted to have a Star Wars Lego party. So that is what we did. We, as usual, kept it pretty simple, but had lots of fun.

We had popcorn with BB8 colored M&M's, big and little pretzel Light Sabers, and Star Wars crackers. The sign that Darth Vader is holding says "Come to the Dark Side. We have cookies."

One of our activities was to let the kids design their own spaceship (they could choose between the Millennium Falcon or an X-wing) and then we played pin the ship on Death Star.

We also had a tower building contest. We have enough Duplos and enough kids at the party that we did a boys competition and a girls competition. It was fun to watch the kids try to get it as high as they could without the tower crashing down in sadness.

The whole crew. Andres has some pretty good friends.

As usual, Andres did not want cake for his birthday. This year he opted for homemade ice cream sandwiches with chocolate chip cookies and cookies & cream ice cream.

This boy is 7! (and that chair is dying)

Dexter was just as excited as Andres to get a new book.
