Mother's Day was wonderful. Jason is an absolutely amazing husband and father and does so much to help me. One area he's sort of lacking in is in getting up with Addie - either at night or when she wakes up early. It's not that he doesn't want to (he has often expressed a desire to help me out and he says I can wake him up anytime), but he usually doesn't wake up or if he does he says things that make it very obvious that he's not coherent enough to be any help. So when he went to get Addie on Sunday morning, I figured he was just going to bring her into our room so that he could try to sleep a little more, so I just went back to sleep. I didn't wake up until they both came in with breakfast for me. Breakfast in bed!!!! It was great. And we were still on time for 9am church! I was very impressed.

Jason and I both spoke in church and it went pretty well. We came home and had a relaxing Sunday and then we got to talk to Sister Gonzalez! It was a perfect day and I'm so grateful for such a wonderful husband and the best and cutest little daughter anyone could ask for.

I'm also grateful for his mother who obviously did a great job. My mom is an inspiration to me everyday and I only hope I can be as selfless to my children as she was to us. What a great blessing to have so many wonderful women in our family's life. Thanks.

Jodie,
I love your Mother's Day entry. I'm so glad that Jason has continued the tradition. He is a great son and husband. Glad you had a great day. Thanks for including me and your great mom on the blog. We both love you very much.
Jodie,
The above is from your mother-in-law, not Jeff. He keeps logging on and I forget to check.
Happy Mothers Day. It is so fun to see how Addie is growing and to know you and Jason are still so perfect for each other. Love Aunt Deena
