For those who didn't know, Friday 9 July was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a. Dress up like a cow and get free chicken? Sweet. We were very surprised to see that there were not very many people dressed as cows. I mean, it's free food! But, we had fun:

Addie kept insisting on going to see the cow, but when she got close she would freak out. And when we went to take a picture, that was WAY too close even if I was holding her.

Yes, I made an udder. It was the one way that I sometimes feel very closely related to a cow.

We printed off some snouts (is that what they're called on a cow?) for us to wear along with the ears and spots, but they weren't very comfortable and really hard to eat with so we didn't wear them long. Even Andres got in on the action (see the cow face on his hat?). I was very surprised with my husbands mooching instincts that he didn't try to get a free meal out of that too.

We found out later that the more complex you dressed up, the more free food you got. A mask got you a sandwich, but our elaborate costumes got us 3 full meals!

We met our good friends there (thanks for the tip, Lindsey!) and we were glad for at least one more fun adventure before they leave for Rexburg.

And this is our tired little cow about 30 seconds into the ride home. Notice the position of the "injured" hand.

I don't know too many people who would go to such lengths to get a free meal. Delightful pictures! I'm glad that you are enjoying each other and the time offf school. Have another great week!
You guys are awesome!!! I love the cow costumes.
Moooo. That is fantastic! What a fun idea. Free food and geting to dress up like a cow. I don't know if life gets any better.
Well maybe- in just over two weeks when we are going to be sitting on the beach. Relaxing with our kiddos behaving perfectly. That might be better. Just in case, you might want to bring your cow costumes.
That is so hilarious!
