Addie

Addie is lots of fun right now.  She's almost 4 and having a good time with lots of things.  She loves to put on pretty dresses and wear sparkly shoes and has about a million necklaces to accesorize her ensambles.  Speaking of accessories and ensambles, she loves to read and one of her favorites right now is Fancy Nancy.  She still loves princess anything, though and has said more than one time:"When I grow up I want to be a princess, and then when I grow up again I want to be a fairy-princess-mermaid".  I'm not sure what that is, or when exactly 'growing up again' occurs, but I'm sure she'll figure it out.  She and Andres have been playing a lot more with each other.  Not always well, but they have a lot of fun and they come up with some of the most creative things.  Today they were in their room for about an hour making forts and playing 3 musketeers (or 2 I guess) which I was very grateful for because Dexter was having a hard afternoon.  When he finally went down for a nap, I went to see what they were doing but I was very kindly told "Sorry, no big people allowed in here".

She goes to preschool once a week and ballet once a week.  She's getting very excited for her recital coming up.  Although I am a bit scared because she has to have her hair up in a bun, and to be honest, because she's never let me do anything to her hair I don't really know how to do anything with her hair.  She has been doing really well with keeping it brushed everyday (even that was a struggle for awhile) and with the warmer weather her curls are starting to come back a bit.

 Addie is a wonderful big sister.  She loves to make Dexter smile and laugh, and likes to get Andres in trouble.  She has a listening jar and has been doing pretty good with listening to mom and dad and trying to do what's right.
