Yup. My "favorite" is the socks with the shoes. Yup.
| She sure is happy and excited, though. She was ready about 15 minutes early and just sat on the stairs waiting. |
She wasn't nervous at all and neither was I. I knew she would do great. I hear of all these mothers that get emotional when their kids go to school. Is there something wrong with me that I think that's weird? Maybe I'll be more upset when it's Andres who is a little more shy and not so sure of himself. But I'm glad that Addie is so good and I know I don't have to worry about her at school (at least not yet).

It is harder with the one that isn't so excited to go.
You know, Jack wears socks and shoes as well, and he will sometimes only wear one sock. Our children are awesome.
I love that Addie was so excited for school. Elijah starts on the
4th. And yes, I will be one of those moms that cries. I cried when I dropped him off for a 2 hour long day camp. LOL
Addie looks so happy and yes, ready! What a great way to start school-with confidence. And yes, it does help the mother. I still have a hard time sending my children off to the world when they are not confident. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome. I love her outfit and I love that you let her choose. When Eden went to preschool she was in a very unique artistic fashion period of her life. And I let her go to school in all sorts of odd outfits and I love those pictures, and her teacher loved it too. I had no problem sending Eden to preschool and didn't think kindergarten would be a problem either. And it wasn't for Eden but I never saw it coming...when she started to walk into her class with the other kids I totally started crying! You never know.
