3 months

Eliana is 3 months old and I can hardly believe it! It has gone by quickly and it has been rather pleasant. Why do I sound so surprised? Well, because I do not have easy newborns and I really don't do well with lack of sleep. And while Eliana has been a very happy baby, I think the biggest reason that this has been a better newborn stage is because I have had a better attitude. Yes, I admit it. Those other times I didn't handle things very well, it was mostly me. Although Dexter was a tough newborn...
My motto this time has been "I can do this (whatever the hard thing is) ONE MORE TIME". Knowing that this is our last baby has really helped me to enjoy the moments instead of getting frustrated with what was hard. Plus, look at this face:

She has recently perfected laughing, although she still makes us work for it. And her favorite to laugh for is, of course, Dad.
She is now sleeping in her crib in her room and doing pretty well. She usually goes down around 9pm and only wakes up once between 1 and 5am.

At my 3 month checkup, these were my stats:
12 lb 2oz - 33%
23.75 inches - 61%
