On Memorial Day, we decided to check out our cool sprinkler. Even though it was 90 degrees, it was also extremely windy, so we didn't stay out too long.

They both were rather timid at first and I had to show them how to run through it. Addie finally warmed up to the idea of getting splashed and she would run right up to it, or jump over it.
Andres, on the other hand, spent most of his time running away from the water. I don't know if it was the splashing or the cold of the water, but he did not really appreciate it.
Since this first time we have had several "swim days" with both our sprinkler and our next door neighbor's little plastic pool (which Andres loves). It is absolutely wonderful to have friends next door to hang out with and to cool off on these hot summer days.
