Vacation Day 3 - Macaroni Grill

On Wednesday, we had a rather relaxing day. I took care of some visiting and helping a single lady in our area that is much easier to do with Jason home to watch the kids. I guess they had a pretty good time, because shortly after I got home I walked into the living room to see this:
Jason and Addie were out cold and Andres was very content looking at all the new library books. This is actually a pretty common scene around our house (besides Addie - she hasn't been taking nearly as many naps as she used to). But very often I will be talking to Jason from the kitchen and when there hasn't been a response for awhile, I find that he's been asleep for who knows how long. And there are many times when Andres has been too quiet for too long and we usually find him sitting looking at books, usually in the chair in his room.
I was really excited for this dinner. I love Macaroni Grill and I have not lived near one since the last time I lived at home right after my mission in 2005. We, of course, had to make the bread that they set out on the table and it turned out really well. It made two loaves, but I don't think we'll have a problem finishing it off considering that when I was cleaning up the last rather large chunk of bread dissappeared and I found Addie and Andres sharing it in their room.
For the rest of the meal we decided to just have soup and salad. I made Macaroni Grill's Chicken Toscana Soup and it was really yummy. Everybody liked it except Addie who would not try it.

The food looks good and so does the lazy afternoon. I love how the kids love to read. I hope they will keep that up.
